RIMET MAGNETIC BASES are of professional quality and come in several styles and sizes and which magnetic base you should use, whether push button, switch type or universal type depends on your particular application. All styles and sizes of magnetic bases have solid metal post clamps and indicator holding clamps.

PUSH BUTTON TYPE MAGNETIC BASE

The 9001 push button type base has a fixed post suitable for 8mm with back lug fixing with a 26kg pull magnet. The magnet size is 48mm x 45mm x 50mm.

There is also a 9002 mini base that has a fixed post for 4mm diameter with dovetail fixing.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              This base has 17-18kg pull magnet with magnet size 45mm x 30mm x 30mm.

Mini Bases can be either 4 1/2″ or 5″ height

SWITCH TYPE MAGNETIC BASE

These can be light or heavy duty models.

For heavy duty use you will need the 9010F magnetic base which has fixed post for 8mm stem and back lug indicators. It has 90kg pull magnet and magnet size 75mm x 50mm x 60mm. The 9010F2 heavy duty model has fixed post with special universal indicator. This base is for 8mm stem and has dovetail mount.   This magnetic base has fixed clamp and fine adjustment and 90kg pull magnet.

UNIVERSAL TYPE MAGNETIC BASES

Depending on your requirements you may use either the small size or heavy duty universal magnetic base.

Small size 9004U and 9005U bases have centre lock post covering 150mm radius of sphere; rotary switch; 4mm or 8mm back lug and dovetail mount.

The 9004U has magnet size 45mm x 37mm x 37mm and 25kg pull and the 9005U has magnet size 45m x 48mm x 55mm and 40-45 kg pull.

The heavy duty 9010U standard size universal type magnetic base has centre lock post which covers 260mm radius of sphere. It has rotary switch; 4mm or 8mm back lug and dovetail mount. This model is available with 85kg or 100kg magnetic pull.

VACUUM BASE (non-magnetic type)

This is a universal type post for use on any non-magnetic surface such as granite surface plates and painted surfaces. It will also hold on smooth steel surfaces.

SPARE MAGNETS with 85kg; 100kg and 140kg pull can also be obtained.
